Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart that feels even more broken than yesterday. This quarrel has left me feeling shattered, and today the pain seems deeper, the brokenness more complete. Lord, I confess that I'm struggling to see past this worsening hurt. Help me to identify the specific thoughts that are amplifying my pain, and give me wisdom to examine them in Your light. I cling to Your promise in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted. Please draw near to me in this moment of increased suffering. Mend what's been torn, heal what's been wounded, and help me to trust that even when things feel worse, You are still at work. Guide my thoughts away from spiraling despair and toward Your truth. Give me strength to face today's intensified pain with the knowledge that You're walking through it with me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
