Heavenly Father, I come before You today feeling the weight of this stress that has intensified since yesterday. The brokenness I felt before has only grown heavier, and I'm struggling to see how to move forward. Lord, You know every detail of what's causing this stress—the pressures, the worries, the sense of being overwhelmed. I bring these specific burdens to You right now: the thoughts that keep circling in my mind, the situations that feel beyond my control, the emotional exhaustion that comes with feeling broken and now facing worsening stress. Help me to identify the distorted thoughts that might be amplifying my stress, and replace them with Your truth. As Your Word says in Matthew 11:28-29, 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.' I claim this promise today. Give me the wisdom to recognize when my thinking patterns are contributing to my distress, and the courage to bring every thought captive to Christ. Even in this worsening moment, help me to trust that You are with me, that You see my brokenness, and that You are working even when I cannot see it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
