Dear Lord, I come to You today with a heart that feels a bit heavier than yesterday. The hopefulness I carried seems harder to grasp, and I confess I'm feeling discouraged in this recovery journey. I bring this 'a bit worse' feeling before You—the specific thoughts and moments that are dimming my hope. Please help me to identify them without judgment, and to release them into Your capable hands. I cling to Your promise in Psalm 34:18, that You are close to the brokenhearted. Draw near to me now, Father. Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Guard my mind from lies that say this dip defines my progress. Help me to see this day not as a failure, but as part of the path where Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I ask for fresh grace to simply take the next small step in trust. In Jesus' compassionate name, Amen.
