Heavenly Father, I come before You with this same anxious heart that's been with me since losing my job. The uncertainty feels overwhelming today, just as it did yesterday, and I'm struggling to see beyond this immediate crisis. Lord, help me to recognize when my thoughts are spiraling into catastrophic thinking about my future. Guide me to replace those anxious thoughts with truth from Your Word. As Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' I present this job loss and all my financial worries to You right now. Guard my mind from fear and help me to trust that You are working even when I cannot see the path forward. Give me wisdom for practical steps today, and surround me with supportive community. In Jesus' name, Amen.
