**Evening Prayer for a Day of Quarrel**

Lord, as this day ends, I come to You feeling overwhelmed. The words spoken, the tension felt, and the hurt from this quarrel still echo in my heart. I am tired, and the weight of it all feels heavy.

Yet, even here, I find a quiet grace to thank You for: the simple safety of this moment, the breath in my lungs, and the mercy that kept this conflict from being worse. Thank You for being a God who listens when no one else can.

Your Word meets me in my exhaustion and says, **“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, NIV)** I receive this promise now.

So, I release it. I let go of the need to re-argue my case in my mind. I surrender the sharp words, the frustration, and the need to be right. I hand You the entire strained relationship and my overwhelmed heart.

Please, Father, restore my soul. Quiet the racing thoughts. Heal the places where words wounded. Grant me a deep, restoring sleep that mends what the day has frayed.

Tonight, I choose to trust not in my own understanding of the conflict, but in Your perfect care. I entrust every person involved and every unspoken word into Your capable hands.

In the name of Jesus, my Prince of Peace, I pray. May Your calming presence watch over me and grant me rest. Amen.
