**Morning Prayer for a Weary Heart on a Peaceful Day**

Good morning, Father. I come to You at the start of this new day, grateful for the gift of it, yet carrying a weary heart. I sense the potential for a peaceful day ahead, but my spirit feels heavy and tired.

Thank You for this fresh start, for the quiet of the morning, and for the promise that Your mercies are new right now. Thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness.

Today, I hold onto Your word: *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”* (Matthew 11:28 NIV). I claim this rest for my soul.

I release this weariness to You—the mental fatigue, the emotional weight, the sense of being drained. I surrender my need to manufacture my own energy or force a sense of peace. I lay it all at Your feet.

Lord, in this peaceful space, grant me the specific grace of *soul-deep rest* in You. Renew my inner strength quietly, like the dawn renews the earth. Fill the quiet moments with Your restorative presence. Let Your peace, which surpasses my understanding, guard my heart and mind today.

As I move through this day, I commit to pausing when I feel the weariness rise, to breathe a simple prayer, and to receive Your rest instead of pushing through in my own strength.

I go into this day in the name of the Father who sustains me, the Son who offers me rest, and the Holy Spirit who renews me. May Your gentle peace be my portion from sunrise to sunset. Amen.
