**Evening Prayer for Anxiety and Overwhelm**

Father, as this day closes, I come to You feeling the heavy weight of anxiety and a heart that is simply overwhelmed. The worries of today press in, and my mind races with all that is uncertain and undone.

Yet, even here, I find a quiet grace to thank You for: the simple fact that I made it through this day, carried by a strength not my own. Thank You for being a refuge when the ground feels unsteady.

Your Word meets me in this storm of thoughts. You promise, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7, NIV). I choose to hold onto this truth now.

So, I release it all to You. I let go of the tight grip of anxiety and the crushing sense of being overwhelmed. I surrender every “what if” and every task that feels too big, placing them into Your capable hands.

Please calm the storm within me. Quiet my racing thoughts and soothe my restless spirit. Heal the places in my heart that feel frayed and worn. Grant me a deep, restoring sleep, a true refuge from the turmoil.

Tonight, I choose to trust not in my own ability to figure things out, but in Your faithful, watchful care. I entrust this night and all my tomorrows to You.

In the quiet peace of Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
