**Morning Prayer for an Anxious Heart** Good morning, Lord. I come to You as the sun rises, carrying this familiar weight of anxiety. My heart feels tight, and my mind is already racing ahead to the worries of this day. I acknowledge this anxious feeling and the challenge it brings, and I choose to bring it all to You now. Thank You for this new day, for the quiet of this morning, and for the grace that Your mercies are fresh and new right now, even before the day begins. Your Word says, **“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV).** I declare this promise over my anxious thoughts and this day. I release this knotted feeling in my chest. I surrender the “what-ifs” and the scenarios I cannot control. I let go of the need to have all the answers and the illusion that worry will protect me. Father, calm the storm within me. Grant me the specific grace to take my thoughts captive and turn each one into a prayer. Fill the spaces I clear with Your transcendent peace. Help me to walk through today’s tasks not in a spirit of fear, but in Your strength. Today, I commit to pausing at the first sign of rising anxiety to breathe a short prayer: “Jesus, I trust You with this.” I go into this day held by Your peace, one step at a time, knowing You are already in every moment ahead. In the name of the Prince of Peace, Amen.
