**Evening Prayer for a Weary Heart After a Day of Opportunity**

Father, as the day closes, I come to You honestly weary. My mind and spirit feel heavy from the weight of today’s opportunities—the decisions, the paths considered, the potential that felt both a gift and a burden. I acknowledge this tiredness, and I bring it to You now.

Yet, even in my fatigue, I thank You for the grace of choice, for the doors You placed before me, and for Your constant presence through each moment. Thank You for being the God who provides both the opportunity and the strength to meet it.

Your Word meets me here in my weariness: **“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, NIV)** I claim this promise tonight.

So, I release it all—every unresolved thought about the future, every “what if” clinging to my mind, and this deep, soul-level tiredness. I lay down the burden of the opportunity itself, entrusting its outcome and my capacity to You.

Please restore my soul. Quiet the racing thoughts. Heal the fatigue that goes beyond the body. Grant me a rest that renews my mind and spirit as I sleep. Let my sleep be a true surrender, a tangible act of trust.

Tonight, I choose to entrust these opportunities and this weary heart to Your faithful hands. You do not slumber, so I can. I release my need to figure it all out now.

In the name of Jesus, my rest. Amen.
