**Evening Prayer for When Loans Feel Overwhelming**

Father, as this day ends, I come to You feeling truly overwhelmed. The weight of these loans and the numbers on the page feel heavy and constant, crowding out my peace and stirring up anxiety about tomorrow.

Yet, even here, I choose to thank You. Thank You for the provision this loan once represented, for the roof over my head or the need it met. Thank You for my breath tonight, and for Your faithfulness that has brought me through every single day so far.

Your Word meets me in this feeling. You promise, *“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”* (1 Peter 5:7, NIV). So right now, I cast it. I release this entire financial burden—the calculations, the deadlines, the fear—into Your capable hands. I also release the tight knot of overwhelm in my chest, the racing thoughts that won’t quiet down.

Please restore my soul. Quiet the storm of worry and replace it with Your profound peace, the kind that guards my heart and mind. Grant me the gift of deep, untroubled sleep, a tangible rest that reminds me I am not carrying this alone.

Tonight, I choose to entrust this debt and my future to You. I relinquish my need to figure it out and my illusion of control. The night is Yours, and so is this burden.

In the quiet, I receive Your peace. Watch over me, my family, and our needs as we sleep. In the name of Jesus, my provider, Amen.
