**Morning Prayer for a Weary Heart Facing Job Loss**

Good morning, Father. I come to You at the start of this new day, weary in spirit and facing the heavy reality of this loss. I acknowledge both the uncertainty ahead and the tiredness within me as I begin.

Thank You for the gift of this morning, for breath in my lungs and the steadfast promise that Your mercies are new today. Thank You for being my anchor when the ground feels unstable.

I declare Your promise over this day: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, NIV). I claim this rest for my soul.

I release to You my exhaustion, my fears about provision, and the weight of this burden. I surrender my need for control and my bruised sense of identity. I lay them at Your feet.

Lord, in my weariness, grant me the specific grace to simply come to You. Renew my strength, not for frantic striving, but for trusting. Give me wisdom for the practical steps of this day and eyes to see Your quiet provision.

Today, I commit to one small act of faith: I will pause and breathe a prayer of trust before checking job listings or worrying about tomorrow.

I step into this day held by You. Guide my path, open the right doors, and let me feel the companionship of Christ beside me, one moment at a time. In His name, Amen.
