Lord, as this Wednesday evening settles in, I come to You honestly carrying the weight of midweek weariness. My spirit feels dry, and my strength feels spent. Holy Spirit, I ask You now to come and renew me. Flow into these dry places within me like living water, reviving my heart and refreshing my soul. Fill me with Your strength, that I may persevere. I look to You, Christ, my sure hope. Grant me fresh vision and momentum for the days ahead. Renew my joy in the journey. I pray for my body and mind, weary from the week’s demands. Lord, protect my rest tonight and restore my health, that I may rise tomorrow ready to continue. As the psalmist prayed, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Do this work in me tonight. I place my hope and my tiredness into Your capable hands. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
