### Evening Prayer for a Peaceful Close Thank You for the gentle rhythm of this day, the quiet moments, and the sense of Your steady presence throughout. I am grateful for this feeling of peace—for the calm in my spirit and the rest in my heart. It is a gift I receive from Your hand. Your Word reminds me, *“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”* (Psalm 4:8, NIV). This promise feels especially true tonight. I release this peaceful day back to You, holding nothing back. I let go of any subtle worry about tomorrow, any faint desire to cling to this calm as if it were my own doing. I surrender it all. Please guard this peace through the night. Let my rest be deep and restorative, a true renewal for body and soul. Keep my heart and mind anchored in Your quiet love. I choose to trust You with the unseen hours ahead. I entrust my sleeping and my waking to Your faithful watch. In the name of Jesus, my Prince of Peace, I pray. Amen.
