**Morning Prayer for a Weary Heart in a Peaceful Season**

Good morning, Lord. I come to You at the start of this new day, weary in spirit, even as I acknowledge the peaceful circumstances You have provided. I bring both my tiredness and this gift of calm before You.

Thank You for the quiet of this morning, for the rest of the night, and for the grace of a day that holds the promise of peace. Thank You for being my refuge, especially when my strength feels low.

Your Word says, **“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)** I claim this promise now. In this peaceful time, I don’t need rest from chaos, but rest *in* You—a deep renewal for my soul.

I release this weariness to You—the mental fatigue, the emotional heaviness. I let go of the pressure to manufacture energy I don’t have. I surrender this day’s peaceful pace, asking You to fill it with Your gentle presence, not my striving.

Father, in this calm, grant me the specific grace of *soul-deep rest*. Renew my inner being. Help me to receive Your peace not just as a circumstance, but as an invitation to lean into You. Give me wisdom to steward this peaceful day in a way that truly restores me.

Today, I commit to one small act of receptive rest: to pause at midday, breathe deeply, and simply remember Your nearness, accepting Your rest as a gift.

I step into this peaceful day held by You. May Your strength be perfect in my weakness, and Your gentle guidance lead me through every quiet hour. In the name of Jesus, my true rest, Amen.
