As the light of this Friday evening fades, I come before You, reflecting on the week now behind me. I see both the challenges and the small successes, and I hold them in the light of Your constant, unwavering love. My heart quiets to contemplate the depth of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross—the ultimate, profound act of love that covers all. In the shadow of that grace, I release to You any regrets or shortcomings from these past days. I lay them down. Thank You for the gift of this rest, for the rhythm of work and the peace of the coming Sabbath. Your word reminds me, “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” I receive that peace now. I rest my heart in gratitude for Your love and grace, entrusting this night and tomorrow to Your care. In Jesus Name Amen.
