Good morning, Father. As this Saturday dawns, I come to You with a heart full of peaceful anticipation. I release to You the busyness of the week now past—the tasks, the thoughts, the clutter of my mind. Please calm my spirit and grant me stillness. I ask You to prepare my heart for worship tomorrow. Quiet any distraction within me, and create a space of expectancy for Your presence. Let my spirit be alert and ready to receive from You. Grant me, and my family, a truly restful Sabbath. May this day of preparation be filled with Your peace, not just an empty pause, but a deep and holy rest that restores my soul. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to truly know You in this stillness, to wait for You with a hopeful and quiet heart. In Jesus Name Amen.
