As the quiet of this Saturday evening settles around me, I come before You, Lord. I look back on the thoughts, words, and deeds of this past week. Please search my heart, forgive where I have strayed, and cleanse me with Your grace. Remove from me now all the noise and disturbances of the world. Help me to lay aside every distraction and prepare a quiet heart within, a heart ready for You. Create in me a true and deep longing—a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for genuine worship. Let my spirit yearn for Your presence above all else. I lift up tomorrow’s gathering. Prepare the heart of the speaker. Anoint the worship. Bless every moment of fellowship, that we may meet with You. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to rest in that truth tonight, to cease my striving and simply know You. Grant me peaceful sleep, that I may awaken with a spirit ready to welcome Your day. In Jesus Name Amen.
