**Morning Prayer for an Anxious Heart** Good morning, Lord. As this new day begins, I come to You feeling anxious. My heart feels tight with worry, and the challenges ahead seem to magnify my fears. I acknowledge this anxiety and bring it into Your light. Thank You for the gift of this morning, for the quiet moment to breathe and the fresh start it represents. Thank You that Your mercies are new right now, and that this day is held securely in Your hands. Your Word says, **“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV)** I claim this promise over my anxious thoughts today. I release this knotted feeling in my chest to You. I surrender the “what-ifs” and the racing thoughts. I let go of my need to control outcomes and my fear of the unknown. My mind is Yours to guard. Please grant me the specific grace of Your transcendent peace. Quiet the storm within me. Give me the wisdom to recognize when anxiety is rising and the strength to turn my thoughts back to You, moment by moment. Today, I commit to pausing for one minute of deep, intentional breathing whenever I feel overwhelmed, using that breath as a prayer to invite Your peace in. I step into this day not in my own strength, but clothed in Your peace. May Your presence be my constant companion, turning my anxious steps into a walk of trust. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
