**Evening Prayer for Anxious Hearts**

Father, as this day closes, I come to You with an anxious heart. The worries of today feel heavy, and my mind is restless, replaying fears and uncertainties. I acknowledge this anxiety before You, not hiding it, but bringing it into Your light.

Even in this tension, I thank You for being my constant anchor. Thank You for the breath in my lungs this evening, for the safety of this moment, and for Your promise to never leave me.

Your Word says, **“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)** I claim this promise now.

I release this day and all its anxious thoughts to You. I let go of the need to figure everything out and surrender the “what ifs” that swirl in my mind. I place every specific worry into Your capable hands.

Please calm my racing thoughts and soothe my unsettled spirit. Grant me the deep, restorative sleep that comes from trusting You. Heal the places in my heart that fear and protect my mind through the night.

Tonight, I choose to trust You instead of my anxiety. I entrust the unknown future, my responsibilities, and my loved ones completely to Your watchful care. You are awake, so I can rest.

In the quiet of this night, may Your peace, which is beyond my understanding, stand guard over my heart and mind. I rest now in the love of Jesus, in whose name I pray.
