As the evening settles, I look back on this Monday and thank You for the work accomplished today, for the tasks completed and the strength You provided. Now, I release to You all the day’s frustrations, the lingering pressures, and the quiet worries about the week ahead. I surrender this anxiety, laying it at Your feet. Forgive me for any sharp words spoken in haste or for any disappointment I may have caused. Heal the small wounds of the day. Grant me, I pray, true rest for my body and a deep, quiet peace for my soul. Help me to truly cease from my striving. Your word in Psalm 62:1 whispers to my heart: “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” I entrust this night and all my tomorrows into Your caring hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
