**Evening Prayer for the Weary Heart**

God, my Father,
I come to You tonight feeling so weary. The opportunities of this day, while good, have also been demanding, and my strength feels spent. I acknowledge this tiredness in body, mind, and spirit before You.

Even in my fatigue, I thank You for the doors You opened today. Thank You for the trust placed in me and the potential You revealed, even when it felt heavy.

Your word meets me in this weariness. You promise, *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”* (Matthew 11:28, NIV). I come to You now, carrying nothing.

So tonight, I release it all. I let go of the weight of potential, the pressure to perform, and the mental lists for tomorrow. I lay down my striving and my need to figure everything out. I surrender this weariness itself into Your hands.

Please restore my soul. Quiet the whirring thoughts and soothe the tired places within me. Grant me a deep, healing sleep that only You can give—a rest that rebuilds my strength and renews my perspective.

I choose to trust that while I sleep, You are awake and at work. I entrust these opportunities and my exhausted self to Your capable, loving care.

In the name of Jesus, who understands human weariness, and by the Spirit’s peace that guards our hearts, I pray. Amen.
