**Morning Prayer for a Weary Heart Facing Job Loss**

Good morning, Lord. I come to You at the start of this day, weary in spirit and facing the heavy reality of my job loss. I bring both this challenge and my tired heart to You now.

Thank You for the gift of this new morning, a fresh start I didn’t earn but You freely give. Thank You that Your mercies are new today, even when my strength feels old and spent.

Your Word says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NIV). I claim this promise for my soul today. I am weary, and I come.

I release to You the weight of my anxiety, the fear of the unknown, and the exhaustion that makes even looking ahead feel daunting. I surrender my need for control and my wounded sense of purpose.

Father, grant me the specific grace for today: not the energy for the whole journey, but just enough strength for the next step. Grant me wisdom to see Your provision and peace to guard my heart from despair. Fill the spaces where I feel lacking with Your sufficiency.

Today, I commit to one act of faith: I will pause and write down one thing I am grateful for, anchoring my heart in Your goodness before the worries rush in.

I go into this day held by You. Guide my thoughts, lead my steps, and renew my hope as the day unfolds. May I sense Your presence closer than my fear. In the name of Jesus, my provider and my rest, Amen.
