**Evening Prayer for the Weary After Job Loss**

Heavenly Father,

Tonight, I come to You weary in body and soul, carrying the heavy weight of today’s news—the loss of my job. I feel exhausted, uncertain, and deeply shaken. I name this weariness before You, for You see it all.

Yet, even here, I choose to give thanks. Thank You for the strength that carried me through this day, for the breath in my lungs, and for the promise that You are with me in this valley.

Your Word says, **“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)** I cling to this promise now.

So, I release it all to You—the shock, the fear, the questions about tomorrow, and this profound fatigue. I lay down the burden of provision and the anxiety of the unknown at Your feet.

Please restore my soul. Quiet the racing thoughts. Heal the places in my heart that feel bruised and rejected. Grant me a deep, untroubled sleep, the kind that comes only from trusting You.

Tonight, I choose to entrust my future, my needs, and this weary self entirely into Your faithful hands. You are my provider, and I am under Your care.

In the quiet of this night, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
