**Evening Prayer for Financial Overwhelm**

Father, as this day closes, I come to You feeling truly overwhelmed. The weight of these loans and financial pressures feels heavy on my heart and mind, crowding out peace and filling me with anxiety.

Yet, even here, I choose to thank You. Thank You for the provision that brought me this far, for the roof over my head tonight, and for the breath in my lungs. Thank You that my security does not ultimately rest in a bank statement, but in Your unchanging character.

Your Word promises: **“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7, NIV)** Tonight, I take You at Your word. I cast this heavy burden of debt and worry onto You. I release the numbers, the deadlines, and the fear of lack from my clenched hands. I surrender the mental loops of planning and panic that keep me from rest.

Please restore my soul. Quiet the storm of “what-ifs” in my mind. Heal the places in my heart that equate my worth with my net worth. Grant me the deep, untroubled sleep that comes only from trusting the One who owns everything.

Tonight, I choose to entrust my future and my finances to Your care. I relinquish the illusion of my control. I will not carry this into the night; I leave it with You.

In the name of Jesus, who had nowhere to lay His head yet possessed all things, I pray. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and my mind as I sleep. Amen.
