Good morning, Father. As this Saturday dawns, I come to You with a heart full of the week’s busyness. I ask You to calm my mind, to help me release the mental lists and the lingering tasks. Quiet my spirit, Lord, and draw me into Your stillness. I pray for my heart’s preparation for worship tomorrow. Cleanse me of distraction and fill me with a true spirit of expectancy. Help me to look forward to gathering with Your people, not as another obligation, but as a joyful meeting with You. Grant me, and my family, a truly restful Sabbath. Teach us what it means to cease from our labors and find our rest in You alone. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Let this truth sink deep into our souls today. May this day of chores and relaxation be wrapped in Your peaceful presence, a gentle anticipation of the worship to come. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
