In the solemn silence of this Good Friday morning, I come to adore the Cross, the sacred instrument of our salvation. I stand in awe before the depth of love poured out there. My heart is filled with sorrow for my sins, the very sins that made Your perfect sacrifice necessary. Forgive me, Lord. Grant me the grace, I pray, to unite my own small sufferings with Your holy Passion, that they may find meaning in Your redemptive love. I lift to You the needs of the whole world, for which You died. Have mercy on us all. In my sorrow, I cling to Your promise, crying with the Psalmist: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Yet I know this cry leads to hope, for You did not despise the afflicted. Thank you for the Cross, the ultimate price of our redemption. In Jesus Name Amen.
