Good morning, Father. As this Saturday dawns, I come to You with a heart full of the week’s busyness. I ask You to calm my mind, to help me release the mental lists and the lingering tasks. Quiet my spirit, Lord, and draw me into Your stillness. I pray for my heart’s preparation for tomorrow’s worship. Remove any distraction or weariness that might keep me from meeting You fully. Fill me instead with a spirit of holy expectancy, a quiet joy at the thought of gathering with Your people. Grant me, and my family, a truly restful Sabbath—not just an empty day, but one filled with Your presence and peace. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to know You in this rest, to wait for You with a hopeful and prepared heart. In Jesus Name Amen.
