As the quiet of this Saturday evening settles around me, I come before You. I look back on the thoughts, words, and deeds of this past week. Please, Lord, cleanse me. Wash away all that has been selfish or careless, and create in me a clean heart. Remove from me now all disturbances—the noise of the world, the pull of entertainment, the lingering distractions of the day. Help me to prepare a quiet heart, a still space within, ready to be filled by You. Plant in me a true and deep longing for Your Word tomorrow. Stir within my spirit a genuine desire for worship, for fellowship, for meeting with You. I lift up those who will serve tomorrow. Grant Your wisdom and anointing to the speaker. Bless the worship and the time of fellowship, that all may be done for Your glory. Your word in Psalm 46:10 calls me: “Be still, and know that I am God.” In this stillness, I wait for You. I prepare my heart to welcome Your day. In Jesus Name Amen.
