As the quiet of this Saturday evening settles around me, I come before You, Lord. I look back on the week that has passed, examining my thoughts, my words, and my deeds. Please cleanse me, Father. Wash away all that has been stained by the world, and forgive my wanderings. In this moment, I ask You to remove every disturbance from my heart and mind. Turn my attention from the noise of entertainment to the sacred quiet of Your presence. Help me prepare a heart that is still, a mind ready to receive You. Create in me a true and deep longing for Your Word tomorrow. Stir a genuine desire within me for worship that honors You alone. I lift up tomorrow’s gathering to You. Prepare the heart of the speaker. Anoint the worship. Bless every moment of fellowship among Your people. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to rest in that truth tonight, to quiet my soul in preparation for Your day. In Jesus Name Amen.
