With each exhale... imagine the particular weight of this midweek point... dissolving into the support beneath you. Rest here... in this growing stillness. Nothing needed. No more doing. Simply breathing... simply being. Your planning mind quiets... your striving body settles... held in a deep and wordless peace that needs no accomplishment. Let this peace... carry you now toward sleep. The day is complete. The week's rhythm continues tomorrow, but it is not yet here. In this quiet night, in the space between Wednesday and Thursday... you are held. Let your breathing soften... your body soften... drifting gently into restful sleep. Goodnight.
