**Morning Prayer for a Peaceful Start with Family**

Good morning, Lord. As this new day dawns, I come before You with a peaceful heart, grateful for the quiet of this morning. I acknowledge the day ahead will hold moments with my family, and I ask You to be at the center of it all.

Thank You for the gift of this fresh start, for the rest of the night, and for the peace I feel in my spirit right now. Thank You for my family and for the love we share.

Your Word says, **“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15, NIV)** I claim this promise for our home today. Let Your peace be the umpire of every conversation and the foundation of every interaction.

I release any subtle anxieties about schedules, differences, or misunderstandings that could arise. I surrender my expectations and my need for control over our time together.

Lord, in this peaceful state, fill me with Your gentle wisdom. Help me to listen more than I speak, to be patient, and to extend grace freely. Let my calm spirit be a source of comfort and stability for my family today.

My commitment is to initiate one small, intentional act of kindness for a family member today, letting Your love flow through my peaceful heart.
