**Evening Prayer for the Weary Heart**

I come to You tonight, Lord, feeling the deep weariness that follows a day of opportunity. My mind is tired from the choices, my spirit feels stretched thin by the potential paths before me. I acknowledge this heavy fatigue.

Yet, even here, I find a quiet grace to thank You: for the doors You open, for the strength that carried me through today, and for this moment of stillness where I can lay it all down.

Your Word promises the weary rest: *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”* (Matthew 11:28, NIV). I claim that promise now.

So, I release it. I surrender every opportunity—the exciting ones and the overwhelming ones—into Your sovereign hands. I let go of the need to figure it all out tonight. I also release this burden of weariness, this mental and spiritual exhaustion that weighs me down.

Father, please restore my soul. Quiet the swirling thoughts. Heal the fatigue that isn’t just of the body, but of the heart. Grant me the deep, restoring sleep that only You can give, a sleep that mends and renews.

Tonight, I choose to trust not in my own understanding of the opportunities, but in Your perfect guidance. I entrust the night, my rest, and tomorrow’s clarity to Your faithful care.

In the quiet peace of Christ, who understands our humanity, I pray. Amen.
