**Friday Evening Prayer** Lord Jesus, as this week draws to a close and a quieter pace settles in, my heart turns to You. I look back on the past days—the challenges faced, the small successes, the moments I fell short—and I see them all held in the light of Your relentless, patient love. Tonight, I fix my mind on the cross. I contemplate the depth of Your sacrifice, the ultimate act of love that bore my sin and shame. In that staggering gift, I find my rest and my worth. All my striving, all my regrets, I release them now into Your ocean of grace. Thank You for the gift of this evening, for the promise of rest, and for the sacred rhythm of the Sabbath ahead. My soul finds its home in Your love. As the Psalmist wrote, *"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life"* (Psalm 143:8). I receive Your peace and end this day in grateful stillness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
