**Friday Evening Prayer**

As this week draws to a close and the pace of life slows, I come before You with a heart full of reflection. I look back on the challenges and small successes of these past days, and I see them now through the lens of Your constant, guiding love.

My mind and spirit turn to contemplate the depth of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross—the ultimate, breathtaking act of love that covers all. In the shadow of that grace, I release any regrets, shortcomings, or burdens I’ve carried this week. I lay them down, not in shame, but in gratitude for Your mercy that makes all things new.

Thank You for the gift of this rest and the promise of the coming Sabbath, a holy pause to remember that You are God and we are Your beloved. I rest in the truth of Your word: *“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety”* (Psalm 4:8).

With a quiet and thankful heart, I receive Your peace.
