**Saturday Morning Prayer**

Heavenly Father, as this Saturday morning dawns, I come before You with a quiet heart. I release the busyness of the week—the tasks completed, the conversations held, the worries that lingered. I lay it all down before You now, asking for Your peace to calm my mind and settle my spirit.

With a sense of peaceful anticipation, I prepare my heart for the gift of Sabbath tomorrow. Lord, cultivate in me a true spirit of expectancy for worship, for fellowship, and for deep, restorative rest in Your presence. Help me to order this day not with hurry, but with holy intention, completing what is needed so that tomorrow I can be fully present with You and with my community.

I long for a Sabbath that is more than an empty day; I pray for one that refills my soul. As the psalmist wrote, *“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety”* (Psalm 4:8). Let that peace begin its work in me today. Grant me stillness, and prepare me to receive all You desire to give when Your day arrives.
